Good packing prevents chips, staining, and warping during long transport. Export sets should include foam interlayers, corner/edge guards, moisture barriers, and ISPM-15 certified wooden crates. Bar-coding and labeling each crate with size, finish, and sequence speeds site handling.
Load planning matters as much as the crate. Arrange bookmatched pairs in order, keep weights within the carrier’s limits, and strap crates securely on fumigated pallets. For tiles, use tight bundles with shrink wrap to control vibration.
Documentation closes the loop: commercial invoice, packing list, HS codes, and photos of each lot before dispatch. Agree on Incoterms (FOB/CIF/DDP) and insurance coverage. When logistics, packing, and paperwork align, deliveries arrive project-ready and on schedule.
